Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are teaming up with Jane Eyre director (and hot piece in his own right) Cary Fukunaga to make a series for cable television called True Detective. It will be eight episodes long and will have them playing detectives on the hunt for a serial killer. So it's basically an eight-hour long movie. The Playlist says that if there was a second season it would follow different characters and a different case. Anyway, they had me at an eight-hour long serial killer movie from Cary Fukunaga. I will eat that right up. I wonder what this means for his sci-fi movie though?
